Starting today AHS has moved the province to stage 2. This means you can sit in the clubhouse with up to 6 people at a table or enjoy some time on one of our deck tables. Sandy, Kianna, Brittany and Barb are looking forward to serving you, whether it be a coffee, other beverage or a snack. Glen, Colin, and Terry have the course in excellent shape so come on out for an enjoyable round of golf. We’ll soon be adding our ball washers and benches back on to the course and planning a few tournaments.
Starting Monday, May 10 Alberta Health has implemented new restrictions for golf courses. You may only golf with members of your household; or if living alone, two close contacts. Our deck/patio will also be closed for use. You may still take beverages and food on the course and consume it while you golf.
We are thankful that we are still open and hopefully these restrictions will change soon. In the meantime we will do our part to support AHS in their endeavor to reduce Covid cases in Alberta. This can be a time to still enjoy the game, with your family.

The course is in excellent shape. We are planning to open for green fee players on May 14th (or as soon as we have our wireless pay terminals, whichever is later). Members can play now. Rates are increasing slightly for 2020, we will post them soon. We are going to be missing out on some revenue this year including lack of tournaments and delayed Casino funds, so we encourage everyone to golf as much as possible, buy memberships, and purchase plenty of food and drinks to support our local course. Restrictions will be in place according to Alberta laws and regulations, which are subject to change due to changing virus conditions/outbreaks. We will try to have some kind of league, but it won’t be a group gathering until that is allowed by the regulations. The restaurant will be open for liquor and takeout, and possibly for dine-in at reduced capacity according to the regulations.
Reminder, Annual General Meeting Wednesday March 18th at 7pm at the golf course. IMPORTANT: Please do not come if you feel sick at all, OR if you’ve traveled outside the country in the last 14 days, OR if you have been in contact in the last 14 days with anyone who has traveled outside the country recently.
