This year our club raffle is a 50/50. Cash prize will depend on how many tickets are sold. You can purchase them up at the clubhouse. We are also asking members to please take a book of tickets to try and sell.

Come out and golf on Fathers Day and all Dads will enjoy a drink on the club.

All Mommas can enjoy free golf on Mothers day. Come out and have a round on us because you have earned it. Maybe a cocktail or two while you golf.

Welcome to another year of golf at the Vauxhall Golf and Country Club. We are now open and looking forward to another great golf season. We are a course that is great for beginners but is a challenge for the low handicapper. We are very family friendly and provide the opportunity for everyone to come out and learn the game. We have ladies night on Tuesdays and men’s league on Wednesdays beginning the first week in May so everyone is invited to come and check this out. The beer and coolers are always cold and refreshing and the clubhouse staff are also eager to serve you and make you feel welcome.

Our first major tournament is our annual Rusty Swing Pig roast. We have moved this tournament up to May 11 this year which will make it a true rusty swing. as many have just start to hit the ball. This is our main fundraiser for the year so we are hoping to get 18 to 20 teams entered. If you want to ensure a spot, enter early. Other tournaments we are hosting will our senior men’s and senior ladies scrambles, men’s and women’s scrambles, Harvey Blaney senior men’s stroke play and an open scramble called the “Tough as Nails”. Watch for the advertising of these. We also offer half price golf and carts every Thursday.

Should any companies want to hold a tournament we are very accommodating and affordable. We have also hosted a few bridal showers and stag party’s, family reunions, etc.

Memberships – single, couple, family and corporate are available to purchase at the clubhouse. Rates are posted on our web page. If you are not sure if you want a membership try purchasing a punchcard to help you save. We also have a rate on a yearly cart rental that you may be interested in.

Men’s league will start on Wednesday, May 1 at 6:00. ( We move to 6:30 when the days get longer). It will be a fun scramble to allow the organizers to see how many teams we have and to get schedules made. You may enter a team or if you are an individual and want to join league phone the club house to get your name on the list or better yet just come out and we will get you on a team. If you cannot make it the first night we can still get you on a team.

Ladies Night will start on Tuesday, May 7 at 6:00. The ladies night has different games they play each week and you are not assigned to a team. You can bring out friends and golf together. Besides the fun games they do keep track of low gross and low net each week.

Leagues can be for all levels of golf, beginners included and is a great way to meet new friends and have a wonderful social evening.

Congratulations go out to Christine Alexander from Lloydminster, Alberta for having her name drawn as the winner of 1/2 beef. Our second prize winner of a whole pig cut and wrapped donated by Dennis Dirtworx was Ryan Friesen of Taber. The Vauxhall Golf and country Club would like to thank all those that purchased a ticket.
